Studio Session

Got to shoot with Austin Stinson the other evening inside the RiverRoom and a Lawyers office next to it with a model. It's always good to get out and mess around with some lightning and a location and see what you can make of it. We tried our best to add some movement to each others photo's with some wind, it's actually harder than you think to wave a giant piece of cardboard and make just the right amount of wind to blow the model's hair softly and not just blast them with a gust of air haha. Messing around with my new 85mm

Had the chance to mess around with my new lens the other evening. Its pretty amazing but the focus falls off so fast at f1.2 that it will really be a challenge to make sure I get the right focus every time. Here's a few photo's from the evening, a few are good, a few I lost the focus but it was just good to get out and shoot. 

The Full Bloom Charity Fashion Show

I got invited by Russ Roe(russroe.com) to attend and shoot his fashion line at the Full Bloom Charity Fashion Event. It was an awesome event with a pretty good turn out. I snagged some photo's of his line and a little video take a peak at the pic's.

Sunday

Today was a relaxed awesome day of shooting. I met up with Austin Stinson at the River Room where he had a little fashion shoot going on and I decided to do a little behind the scenes shooting. I shot mostly video stuff which I don't have uploaded at the moment but I did snag a few pictures too. I was trying to break in my new monopod and get ready for this upcoming wedding season where I will be shooting mostly video. It's an exciting change of pace and has definitely got me pumped up. Here is a few stills from throughout the dayyy and few from the beach from yesterday.

Photo's from my days around the house

I recently purchased a 85mm 1.2 which is currently on its way to me via fed ex and I have been shooting with my other prime my 50mm 1.4 to get ready. In other news I also recently purchased a manfrotto monopod which is amazing. I cant wait to shoot more with it and really break it in when my 85 comes. The 85 really excels for dslr video and the monopod is a priceless accessory that helps nail some key shots. Its friday and its time for a beer. Cheers everyone.
