Studio Jewelry

Got the chance to photograph some Chanel jewelry for a local boutiques ad today. I enjoy shooting still life subjects like this because I like the challenge of lighting them creatively.  On the other hand, I despise shooting on glass because of dust! Good thing I had my trusty can of air to keep everything clean. Here's the ad without any text.

"The Brick"

          Just picked up a 1940's Argus C3. It's in pretty good condition, the shutter can be a little sticky at slower speeds but I'm hoping with a little use it will work its way out. Check it out. 

     

It was a little dirty So I cleaned it up. I think it looks pretty good for 71 years old

Engagement Session

Been Wandering

         I'm trying to find some cool places around town where I can explore and find a location with some fine art landscape opportunities. I think I stumbled upon said place yesterday it looks very promising with lots of trails and options to explore. I will be making a few trips back soon and hopefully trudge through enough woods to find a killer shot. Heres a few pic's from my travels through the woods.

    I photographed a few dishes at a local restaurant for an editorial article that will be featured in the November/December issue of Focus on the Coast. The article is spotlighting a few restaurants around town that are featuring new holiday dishes and drinks. Take a peak.
